It sure is HOT

This heat is very rough and finding ways to stay cool, and not being trapped inside with the air conditioning is a challenge. I find that I limit my outdoor excursions to a minimum and take iced water with me everywhere. Summer clothing that is light and loose is a must, as is staying out of the sun.

When I was first diagnosed with MS my doctor had MS herself! Such a godsend and a great source of guidance. She told me that after work she went home and got in a bath as cold as she could bear it and lay there for 1/2 an hour. I do this too and I find that it is the fastest way to cool down. It makes me wish that I had a swimming pool or nearby beach. I wonder what people did befor air conditioning? Here is an image to cool us down.
